I am Salome Tammi and live in Hollola in southern Finland.  We live on a small sheep farm with my husband and two small kids. Our border collies are used for working with the sheep. I also trial in herding as much as possible. In the winters we do also agility. The dogs live with us in the house as family members together with the cats.

I breed border collies under the kennel name "Sellainen". It means such, like or that kind of in English. We have roughly one litter per year. The puppies grow and live in the house with us but are also a lot outside on different surfaces in the big garden. My most importand breeding requirements are good herding instincts but I put also a lot of weight to health (health checks) and on a easy-going character. The border collie should be friendly to everyone and be a really easy dog when nothing is happening. I prefer more calm and really well-balanced over really active ones.  Also my calm ones are really motivated to work
